Run a periodic access review across active members, roles, teams, invitations, desktop sessions, and licenses.

Best for: Owners, security administrators, and billing administrators.

Before you start

Access review itself is administrative; remediation requires the relevant member, role, team, billing, or license permissions.

  • Sign in with an individual account in the correct organization.
  • Confirm your role permits the requested change.
  • Record the current state and intended owner before making a production-impacting change.

Review workflow

  1. Export or record the current roster. Include member email, organization role, custom role, team memberships, and last known responsibility.
  2. Review privileged roles first. Confirm every owner/admin and custom privileged role has a current business need.
  3. Review pending invitations. Cancel duplicates, typos, expired requests, and people who no longer need access.
  4. Review team/event scope. Compare memberships with active assignments and remove broad historical access.
  5. Review billable access. Reconcile non-viewer/billable roles with subscription seats.
  6. Review desktop access. Check active device licenses and sessions for Bridge/Encoder/desktop products.
  7. Review credentials and integrations. Confirm BYOK owners and rotate when personnel changed.
  8. Approve remediation. Record reviewer, decisions, exceptions, due dates, and evidence.

What success looks like: The requested change is applied to the intended organization, is visible after refresh, and grants no more access than required.

Check your setup

  • Every identity and pending invitation has a current owner, purpose, scope, billing classification, and review decision.

Troubleshooting

Roster differs across views

Refresh and compare organization roles, team membership, and license inventory separately.

Owner cannot be removed

Transfer ownership using the approved succession process.

Unclear identity

Suspend or reduce access according to policy while ownership is verified.

Security and operational notes

  • Perform reviews on a fixed cadence and after staffing changes.
  • Do not email full sensitive access exports broadly.
  • Preserve evidence according to security policy.
