Handle speaker metadata and voice-related records under privacy, retention, and operational policy.

Before you start

Audio, speech providers, multi-speaker features, and usage are governed by event permissions, plan entitlements, provider support, credentials or wallet, and browser/device compatibility.

  • Use the production event and supported browser/device.
  • Know the source language, speaker plan, latency target, output requirements, and fallback.
  • Test with representative voices, noise, pace, and the actual signal chain.

Export steps

  1. Identify the request. Separate transcript/export request, roster export, correction, voice profile deletion, and full access deletion.
  2. Confirm authority and identity. Verify requester and organization policy.
  3. Locate affected scope. Organization, event, panel, speaker record, enrollment, transcripts, analytics, and exports may differ.
  4. Preserve required records. Apply legal/contractual hold before deletion.
  5. Export only approved fields. Minimize names, images, voice data, and identifiers.
  6. Remove through supported controls. Delete or unlink the exact record and wait for confirmation.
  7. Verify downstream copies. Review exports, desktop caches, third-party graphics/streams, and backups according to policy.
  8. Document completion. Record scope, approver, time, and exceptions.

What success looks like: The configured audio and recognition path produces stable, attributable captions within the approved latency/quality target and has a tested recovery path.

Check your setup

  • Approved data is exported or removed from the intended scope without corrupting event history or exposing unrelated people.

Troubleshooting

Record still appears

Refresh and distinguish cached public metadata, transcript speaker text, and active speaker record.

Cannot delete

Resolve event dependency/permission/retention hold.

Export contains excess data

Do not deliver it; regenerate with minimum fields and securely dispose of the incorrect file.

Security and operational notes

  • Treat voice data and transcripts as sensitive.
  • Never send exports to unverified addresses.
  • Follow privacy and retention obligations.
