Place an approved 4All viewer/output in an iframe with correct sizing, language, theme, and domain policy.
Best for: Event producers, display operators, accessibility leads, broadcast/AV engineers, web teams, and authorized remote operators.
Before you start
Availability depends on event access, plan entitlements, destination enablement, language configuration, and supported browser/display/network behavior.
- Use the correct event and final source/target language configuration.
- Know the physical or web destination, resolution, audience, privacy level, and monitoring owner.
- Test the final receiving screen, embed, graphics path, or operator device—not only the setup preview.
Step by step
- Choose destination. Use viewer or another embeddable audience output, not an authenticated dashboard/control.
- Copy approved embed code/URL. Confirm event and environment.
- Set iframe size/responsiveness. Provide mobile-friendly height/width and avoid double scrolling.
- Set language/theme parameters. Use only documented parameters and enabled locales.
- Configure allowed domains. Allow the exact HTTPS hostnames required.
- Set browser policy. Review sandbox, allow, autoplay/TTS, fullscreen, and privacy headers.
- Test signed out. On the real site/domain, desktop and mobile.
- Test live/reconnect. Verify caption freshness, language switching, and page navigation.
What success looks like: The intended audience or operator receives the correct event, language, styling, and control level with a documented reconnect and fallback path.
Check your setup
- The iframe loads on approved domains, fits the page, and provides the intended caption experience without exposing controls.
Troubleshooting
Blank/refused frame
Check allowed domain, CSP/frame policy, HTTPS/mixed content, and correct URL.
Wrong language/theme
Review parameters, enabled locales, stored viewer preference, and event defaults.
TTS blocked
Iframe/browser autoplay and permission policy may require explicit user interaction/allow attribute.
Security and operational notes
- Only embed public approved destinations.
- Allowed-domain lists are security controls.
- Disclose attendee data handling.
