Separate LL-TTS generation usage from Signal workstation licensing, audience delivery, external equipment, and production services when building a planning estimate.

Separate the cost and capacity layers

  • LL-TTS entitlement: the event needs an eligible current plan or entitlement plus supported provider, model, event, and target language.
  • Wallet usage: LL-TTS is measured through wallet-direct input and output audio-token meters and available caps.
  • Lane-hours: use the planned hours for each demanded event and target-language lane as the operational estimate input.
  • Shared consumers: BYOD audience and Signal consumers of the same event and language share one generation lane. Adding receivers does not add generation lanes.
  • Signal entitlement: the desktop endpoint requires a separate device license, with workstation and physical I/O capacity validated by a 4ALL team member.
  • Audience delivery: BYOD capacity depends on the enabled public viewer and listener readiness; managed delivery depends on external hardware and operations.
  • Excluded items: transmitters, RF systems, receivers, headsets, cabling, charging, sanitation, distribution, venue approval, technicians, travel, and other labor are not included with Signal.

Build a planning estimate

  1. List every independent source event and its demanded target languages.
  2. Calculate planned lane-hours from the reviewed schedule, including rehearsals where applicable.

  4. List Signal workstations, device licenses, and required physical interface outputs separately.
  5. List BYOD support, external hardware, RF, receivers, distribution, staffing, and travel as separate project inputs.

Verify the assumptions

  • Concurrent rooms or programs use separate source and event paths.
  • Shared audience and Signal consumption is not double-counted for the same event and language lane.
  • Both input and output audio-token caps are available for the plan.
  • Signal licensing and I/O capacity are reviewed separately.
  • External equipment and labor are neither omitted nor represented as included.

Troubleshoot an estimate

  • Character-based LL-TTS estimate: replace it with lane-hours and current wallet audio-token terms.
  • Receiver count treated as generation count: count demanded event-language lanes instead.
