Create a private stage/confidence display and keep it separate from public audience outputs.
Best for: Event producers, display operators, accessibility leads, broadcast/AV engineers, web teams, and authorized remote operators.
Before you start
Availability depends on event access, plan entitlements, destination enablement, language configuration, and supported browser/display/network behavior.
- Use the correct event and final source/target language configuration.
- Know the physical or web destination, resolution, audience, privacy level, and monitoring owner.
- Test the final receiving screen, embed, graphics path, or operator device—not only the setup preview.
Step by step
- Define private content. Captions, cues, timing, interpreter information, or other approved stage data.
- Open Stage Display flow. Use the current event and authorized stage machine.
- Pair. Use the current code/approval and keep it private.
- Choose theme/content. Prioritize distance readability and only necessary information.
- Enter fullscreen. Disable notifications/sleep.
- Test private network/display path. Confirm it cannot be seen in public Program/record/stream.
- Test reconnect/re-pair. Document the process.
- Assign operator. Monitor throughout the event.
What success looks like: The intended audience or operator receives the correct event, language, styling, and control level with a documented reconnect and fallback path.
Check your setup
- The intended stage screen receives current private information and cannot be confused with the public display.
Troubleshooting
Wrong event
Clear supported pairing and re-pair.
Pairing lost
Check network/browser storage and use current code.
Public sees stage data
Immediately remove from public signal path and investigate routing.
Security and operational notes
- Stage content may be confidential.
- Pairing codes are sensitive.
- Use a dedicated output machine/path.
