Use workspace utilities while preserving the distinction between preview, sharing, deliverables, and live health.

Before you start

Event access and actions depend on organization role, team scope, plan entitlements, limits, and current event state.

  • Use an individual verified account in the correct organization and team.
  • Confirm the event owner, live operator, output owner, and incident authority.
  • Review the current configuration before changing an existing or live event.

Step by step

  1. Preview captions. Speak a known phrase and inspect source/translation, wrapping, speaker label, and latency.
  2. Open final destinations. Use supported new-window actions for Program, Extended, Closed Captions, ASL, or viewer.
  3. Open Share. Copy only the correct audience or authorized production destination.
  4. Review status. Inspect audio/provider/output readiness and current live state.
  5. Review statistics. Use live or post-event metrics as defined; do not infer unsupported precision.
  6. Create exports after sufficient content. Choose format/language/speaker/timestamp and privacy options.
  7. Verify downloads/delivery. Open the generated file and confirm no wrong event or restricted data.

What success looks like: The event reaches the intended saved or live state, and every required operator can verify the result without receiving unnecessary access.

Check your setup

  • Preview and final destinations agree, the correct link reaches the correct audience, and generated files are reviewed before delivery.

Troubleshooting

Revoke/disable where possible, notify the owner, and send the correct destination.

Export empty

Confirm event content, selected language, finalized segments, and export state.

Status green but receiver bad

Check external browser source, XPression, encoder, decoder, display, or stream receiver.

Security and operational notes

  • Public viewer links and authenticated controls have different sensitivity.
  • Review exports for personal data.
  • Never include credentials in screenshots.
