Place an approved 4All viewer/output in an iframe with correct sizing, language, theme, and domain policy.

Best for: Event producers, display operators, accessibility leads, broadcast/AV engineers, web teams, and authorized remote operators.

Before you start

Availability depends on event access, plan entitlements, destination enablement, language configuration, and supported browser/display/network behavior.

  • Use the correct event and final source/target language configuration.
  • Know the physical or web destination, resolution, audience, privacy level, and monitoring owner.
  • Test the final receiving screen, embed, graphics path, or operator deviceโ€”not only the setup preview.

Step by step

  1. Choose destination. Use viewer or another embeddable audience output, not an authenticated dashboard/control.
  2. Copy approved embed code/URL. Confirm event and environment.
  3. Set iframe size/responsiveness. Provide mobile-friendly height/width and avoid double scrolling.
  4. Set language/theme parameters. Use only documented parameters and enabled locales.
  5. Configure allowed domains. Allow the exact HTTPS hostnames required.
  6. Set browser policy. Review sandbox, allow, autoplay/TTS, fullscreen, and privacy headers.
  7. Test signed out. On the real site/domain, desktop and mobile.
  8. Test live/reconnect. Verify caption freshness, language switching, and page navigation.

What success looks like: The intended audience or operator receives the correct event, language, styling, and control level with a documented reconnect and fallback path.

Check your setup

  • The iframe loads on approved domains, fits the page, and provides the intended caption experience without exposing controls.

Troubleshooting

Blank/refused frame

Check allowed domain, CSP/frame policy, HTTPS/mixed content, and correct URL.

Wrong language/theme

Review parameters, enabled locales, stored viewer preference, and event defaults.

TTS blocked

Iframe/browser autoplay and permission policy may require explicit user interaction/allow attribute.

Security and operational notes

  • Only embed public approved destinations.
  • Allowed-domain lists are security controls.
  • Disclose attendee data handling.
